The incredible view of the Boston skyline from the Harborside Hyatt's glass-encased central rotunda almost masks the fact that it's only feet from dirty, noisy Logan International Airport. Quite popular among business travelers, this luxurious hotel features a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi with sauna, piano bar, seafood restaurant and cutthroat business acumen. Rates vary based on occupancy, usually around $129-415. Suites $895. Parking $20/night. The Park & Fly package, with a 1-night stay and 7 nights of parking, starts at $179 and goes up from there. Book well in advance for Commencement. The Water Shuttle—immediately next door—is also available to whisk you to the Aquarium and downtown Boston within 7min. A hotel shuttle goes to all terminals, as does the #66 airport bus that stops at the water shuttle stop and T stop next door.

A little more than a mile from the airport and popular with families, this independently-owned Holiday Inn is much homier than its institutional brethren. Perks include a 24hr courtesy shuttle to all terminals, outdoor pool, bar, restaurant, and free parking. Children under 18 stay free with a parent, adults over 18 stay free, provided that they can hold their breath inside suitcase or duffel bag during check-in. Rates are by far the cheapest for the airport area, and range from $109-230. Book ahead of time for Commencement, but rooms are occasionally available as late as a week in advance.

A totally environmentally friendly building with recessed fluorescent lighting, an air-handling system, and energy-efficient appliances. It also is generated mostly by solar panels. Offering great views of the Harbor and Boston skyline.
