Opened in 1995 and one of Boston's newest parks, it's owned and operated by the Mass Port Authority and designed by Pressley Associates. Two strategically located pavilions provide a place for people to observe the city skyline across the water. The park totals over 6 acres of open space in an otherwise dense neighborhood. It's landscaping and design utilized community input, to the tune of $17 million. Includes an amphitheater as well as a sailing center where kids 10-17 sail free in the summer.
Public restrooms open daily, clean and climate controlled.
Part of the Boston Harborwalk, a pedestrian path meant to revitalize and improve the enjoyment of Boston waterfront and promote its access to the public.
